Moya Brown

Ms. Brown is Vice President of Marketing, Campbell Canada. She is responsible for driving consumer and shopper engagement through Canadian-led strategy, and integrated activation, in addition to providing overall leadership to the Campbell Canada Marketing team. She leads teams across powerhouse brands including iconic Campbell’s soup, Chunky soup, Goldfish and V8.

An agile and collaborative leader, Moya’s passion for strategic, consumer-driven and truly integrated marketing has led to compound annual growth over the past five years for the Campbell simple meals business. More recently, Moya led the successful revitalization of the Campbell ready to serve soup business, driving share growth and category expansion.

Prior to joining Campbell Canada in 2002, Moya was a brand manager at Procter & Gamble in both Toronto and the United States.

Moya’s commitment to excellence, innovation and best in-class marketing keeps her connected to the marketing and advertising community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) and as an executive leader for Camp Campbell, a program to develop the next generation of female leaders.

Imran Choudhry

An innovative entrepreneur blessed with logic, intuition and focus, Imran brings to the table a well-rounded viewpoint and a propensity for perfection. He is known for his ability to understand client needs, evaluate client goals and deliver campaigns that hit the mark. Neal is currently the Vice President, Client Solutions at IMI and has been involved with the evaluation and optimization of marketing programs for 15 years in 80+ categories in 20+ countries.  Neal’s experience includes working with both large multinational organizations and regional/specialty organizations across all marketing strategies and tactics, always bringing new and innovative approaches to uncovering insights that drive profitability.  Outside of the office, Neal spends most of his time with his family, and with three kids he definitely keeps busy.

Mary Beth Denomy

Mary Beth Denomy is president of Free For All Marketing, a top experiential and event marketing company recently named one of “Canada’s fastest growing companies” by PROFIT and Canadian Business magazines.  Mary Beth is an entrepreneur and an event industry veteran.  She is one of the highest ranked women in marketing at #16 on Canada's list of "Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs" as rated by PROFIT and Chatelaine magazines. Mary Beth is an award-winning marketer and a former teacher of special events in the Sport and Event Marketing program at George Brown College.

Erin Desjardins

As Director of Shopper Marketing & Creative Services at Maple Leaf Foods, Erin Desjardins (ne. McCarthy) , oversees the strategy and execution of all Maple Leaf promotions, account-specific activations and the output of the internal studio team.

Erin joined Maple Leaf Foods (MLF) in 2014, and quickly made a step-change; streamlining the shopper strategy and elevating MLF’s master brands in the eye’s of the shopper and key customers. Prior to joining MLF, Erin held various roles across agencies, starting as an Account Coordinator, and working her way to Director of Client Services. Erin has a passion for the work she does and is relentless when it comes to doing what is right for the company, brand, customer and shopper.

Mangala D'sa
Senior Director
Pepsico Foods Canada

Mangala is the Senior Director of Marketing for the Quaker Foods portfolio at PepsiCo Foods Canada. She joined PepsiCo in January 2016 and is responsible for driving growth for the Quaker Foods portfolio of breakfast and snacks. She partners closely with key cross-functional and global stakeholders to lead strategy and execution plans which will include communication, innovation, activation and new business development for Quaker in Canada.

Mangala has deep leadership expertise in the areas of innovation, strategy, brand building and insights from her roles with Post Foods, Kraft Canada, Reckitt Benckiser Canada and ACNielsen Canada. She has an outstanding track record of transforming legacy brands from decline to growth in revenue and profit. Over her very successful 15 year career, Mangala has led the turnaround business plans for Post Foods North America, produced top scoring marketing programming in the US and Canada, including receiving Worldwide recognition for a Shreddies marketing campaign with a Bronze Lion at Cannes.

Mangala is a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours Degree in Math & Economics. She also completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership North Carolina. Mangala is currently a board member of the Sandgate Women’s Shelter of York Region and the Bloor Information and Life Skills organization of Toronto. In her spare time, she enjoys running, skiing, and travelling with her family. Mangala also enjoys adventure travel and has been to the South Pole, Antarctica, summited Mount Kilimanjaro, Kenya, and most recently completed the 2015 New York City marathon.

Mike Dubrick

Rethink

Mike Dubrick is a writer, Creative Director, and Partner at Rethink Toronto. Since joining the agency in 2012, Mike has been behind some of the most awarded work in Canada, including Molson Canadian’s Beer Fridge, and the highly addictive Anything for Hockey campaigns.

His work has been recognized by all the major international awards shows, including Cannes and The One Show. In 2015, he picked up Canada’s first Grand Sports Clio and saw two of his campaigns featured on Jimmy Kimmel on the same night.

Prior to his time at Rethink, Mike spent time working at CP+B and zig in Toronto.
Prior to that, he worked as a government analyst. Who knew?

Peter Furnish

Peter is the Vice President of Marketing at Cineplex Entertainment, responsible for Brand Experience, Digital Strategies, SCENE loyalty strategies, and Theatrical Marketing.. He has over 20 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, working with brands such as HBO Canada, Virgin Mobile, Budweiser, Alexander Keiths, and Walt Disney Home Video. Peter received his HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Riza Javellana

Riza is a passionate marketer who has extensive experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns to drive business results. She balances innovative thinking with a pragmatic approach, always with the goal of connecting with consumers and ultimately, influencing purchase.

Riza is currently Director of Marketing at Mattel Canada, leading brand strategy and marketing communications for iconic brands like Barbie, Fisher-Price, Thomas and Friends, Hot Wheels and Pictionary. She loves the challenge of being in a role that requires an understanding of not only adult shoppers but also very young consumers. With the various Marketing roles she’s had at Mattel, Riza has continuously evolved the portfolio's marketing strategies to keep pace with changing media consumption trends. She has led teams in establishing a well-balanced and integrated traditional and digital strategy that encompasses optimization of global assets, local social media and influencer initiatives, experiential campaigns, content creation and strong conversion tactics that drove high returns in generating awareness, stimulating brand engagement and increasing sales in-stores and on e-commerce sites.

Prior to joining Mattel in 2009, Riza held progressive Marketing and Sales roles at L’Oreal and Unilever in Asia, leading teams that drove rapid growth of global brands like Maybelline, Garnier Fructis, L’Oreal and Vaseline in the local market.

With a keen sense of curiosity and desire for innovation and transformation, Riza takes every day as a learning opportunity.

Ann Laudenbach

Prior to joining Hunter Straker, Ann has enjoyed 'through the line' communication experience at a variety of agencies working with a multitude of talented people across a plethora of categories and brands. Her passion for tackling business problems with collaboration and creative solutions coupled with her experience, helps her link strategy, creative and tactics together across a plethora of Consumer and Shopper channels.

As Sr Director on the Labatt business, Ann previously lead the High End Brands portfolio and has recently transitioned into the lead on Labatt’s Out-of-Home and In-home Channels. Ann joined Hunter Straker in 2014.

Gallant Law is an award-winning passionate marketing professional with 15+ years of experience translating consumer insights into impactful B2C and B2B strategies for tier 1 organizations. He has multidisciplinary expertise in 360° integrated brand & product marketing, and sponsorship management & activation. He is a solutions-oriented leader providing teams with support, autonomy and a collaborative environment to inspire success.

Currently as the Director of Sponsorship Marketing Planning & Strategy at Scotiabank, Gallant oversees the strategic marketing plan development for the bank’s Sports, Arts, and Philanthropic sponsorship portfolio across Canada to achieve business and brand objectives. The portfolio includes the development of affluent/high net worth client experiences and hospitality.
Previous to Scotiabank, Gallant was the Head of Brand, Sponsorship and Product Marketing at Visa Canada. His responsibilities included strategic marketing planning, national advertising campaigns, promotions, sponsorship marketing, market research, and brand management. He also represented Canada on the Visa International Sponsorship Committee.

Gallant’s extensive marketing and sponsorship experience have included integrated campaigns and activations for the Olympics & Paralympics, FIFA World Cup, Canadian Olympic & Paralympic athletes, CFL, marathons, Canadian Bobsleigh & Skeleton teams, Toronto International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Just for Laughs Festival, Luminato, Stratford Festival, Canadian Film Centre, Hot Docs Film Festival, Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, and the Scotiabank Giller Prize.

Louis-Hugo is a Creative director and Copywriter with experience in mass, direct, digital and promotional communications. He studied journalism and film and likes to think he's landed somewhere in-between.

At Leo Burnett, he learned the craft of ad writing by tailoring English-Canadian and U.S. campaigns to Quebec's francophone audience.

At FCB Direct, he learned the importance of one-to-one communications.

At Draftfcb, "LH" brought creativity, 360-degree strategic thinking and results to an even wider array of challenges. He inspired his teams of writers and art directors, championed creativity within the agency, forged relationships with high-profile creatives throughout the global network and still managed to write, strategize, ideate and have fun.

At COSSETTE, Louis-Hugo leads fully integrated national campaigns. His client roster includes Aeroplan, La Presse+, la Société des alcools du Québec, McKesson, MD Wealth Management, Saputo, Telus and Roche.

Matthew May

The creative lead at Real Interactive, Matthew has led award-winning projects including No Child For Sale for World Vision. With over 18 years of experience in both Canada and the UK, Matthew has worked on global brands like Virgin Group of Companies, General Motors and Energizer. His work has been recognized with PROMO!, Canadian Marketing Association, ACE, CiB Awards, Creative Circle and The New York Festivals awards.  Matthew is well-known for his uncanny ability to sell concepts and impress clients, thanks to a suite of sound effects and a love of song. Think explaining motion graphic transitions is boring? Then you need to see – and hear – Matthew in action. Outside of living the ad life, he is obsessed with soccer and loves coaching kids, helping them develop a lifelong love of the beautiful game.

Anna Medeiros
Associate Director, Brand Engagement

As Associate Director of Brand Engagement at the AIR MILES Reward Program, Anna plays a critical role in acquiring and engaging more than 10 million Collectors in the AIR MILES Reward Program, Canada’s most recognized loyalty program. Currently focused on re-positioning the brand to increase share of heart, Anna was instrumental in building AIR MILES’ sponsorship portfolio including relationships with NBA Canada, Live Nation and various music festival across the country, firsts-of-its-kind partnership for the brand.


Drawing on nearly a decade of working with leading brands and properties across North America, Anna brings forward creative ideas that break through the clutter and provide a memorable, enhanced experience between the brand and its customers. Prior to joining LoyaltyOne, Anna worked at American Express activating the Front Of The Line music program amongst other sponsorship properties and delivering on a national advertising program that supported the Realize The Potential brand platform.


Anna currently resides in the heart of Downtown Toronto and is a proud Ryerson University graduate; she holds a BA honours in Arts and Contemporary studies with a concentration in culture and entertainment.

Nancy Modrcin

Nancy Modrcin joined Metro Inc. as senior director, marketing in January 2012. In this role she is accountable for brand strategy, advertising, shopper marketing, consumer promotions, PR & in-store experience, as well as building integrated marketing solutions for the Ontario market in conjunction with the loyalty and digital teams. Prior to joining Metro, Modrcin managed many globally recognized brand and product portfolios at several entertainment and lifestyle focused companies, including Mattel, NBC Universal, Harlequin and The Walt Disney Company. She has an Honours BA from York University. 

Daniel Rooney

As the president of BOOM Marketing, Daniel has more than 17 years of experience in sports and experiential marketing, as well as sponsorship management.


Prior to joining BOOM, Daniel was responsible for new business development and agency operations at TEAM Enterprises. His focus on operational efficiency and execution led to significant company growth over his 11 year tenure. During his time at TEAM, Daniel led the program management, planning and event activation for clients such as MillerCoors, Google, U.S. Cellular, Kraft, Elizabeth Arden and Volkswagen.
